Is CIRCLE a student progress measure?

CIRCLE is a Student Progress Measure for all students enrolled in Pre-K.  Student Progress is designed to allow teachers to demonstrate their influence on students’ progress by setting individualized starting points for each student.  Therefore, teachers must ensure accurate diagnostic assessments are completed and appropriate starting points are assigned.  The End Goals for each starting point on the CIRCLE assessment are specified on pages 73-74 of the Student Performance Guidebook.

Will giving the BOY assessment in mid October affect our Student performance? I would think that giving the test in September is a better time to show growth and influence from the teacher on their growth.

Where do I access the Student performance handbook? 🙂
