REPORTING SYSTEMS

The Prekindergarten Progression of Skills Report (Report Card) is a documentation of a child’s academic growth during each 12-week grading period.  Marks are based on classroom performance in relation to HISD’s learning objectives and the PK Guidelines set by the state. Skills and concepts found in the core content areas: Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, and Science are reported.  Fine Arts, Music, Dramatic Play, Social, Emotional, and Physical Development are also reported in developmental stages: 1-Discovery (first steps), 2-Exploring (showing progress), and 3-Connecting (ready to apply).

Report Card Time Frame documents have been created to help teachers keep track of when to input observation grades and a final grade on GradeSpeed.  Click to download these documents.
